Vegan Community Cookout
The vegan food, wellness market and holistic fair of NWLA
#VCC2026
We are Rooted in Community Support
VCC 2026 was made possible through the overwhelming support of the ArkLaTex and NWLA community, including local families, creatives, wellness practitioners, and entrepreneurs who showed up with intention and pride.
We extend deep gratitude to our silent investors and sponsors, whose belief in the vision allowed this experience to be executed with integrity, care, and impact. Your support laid the foundation for a festival that centered wellness, accessibility to natural personal care products and services of entrepreneurs and small businesses, and cultural relevance.
Legends, Media & Cultural Partners
Legends of Legacy by Sequoia and E.A.T. Podcast by Kimberly sponsored curated exclusive event merchandise allowing attendees to wear the message beyond the Cookout.
Media coverage and community amplification were strengthened through community partner Mata Drain and the KTAL News team, whose sponsorship of promoting the event on the KTAL News network helped bring regional visibility to the importance of plant-based wellness, local entrepreneurship, and community-centered events.
Volunteers & Service in Action
The heart of the Cookout lived in its people. We proudly acknowledge the dedicated volunteers from Centenary College of Louisiana alongside local community members who supported operating event admissions, the youth area, vendor coordination, and overall guest experience.
Their service ensured that VCC 2026 flowed with authenticity, organization, and professionalism.
A Retreat-Styled Experience Within the Cookout
One of the defining elements of VCC 2026 was its retreat-styled experience woven into the festival atmosphere. Guests were invited to slow down and engage with wellness in a personal, meaningful way through:
-
Holistic wellness and natural personal care offerings
-
Intentional spaces for rest, reflection, and energy alignment
-
A VIP retreat-style experience centered on restoration and balance
This approach allowed attendees to not only enjoy the festival — but to receive from it.
Dialogue, Art & Collective Wisdom
VCC 2026 also featured an interactive discussion panel, led by a Master Herbalist and Wellness Humanitarian, creating space for shared knowledge around prevention-based wellness, ancestral wisdom, and nourishing the body through intentional living.
Live painters, an ongoing community paint party, movement experiences, and live performances transformed the Cookout into a multisensory celebration of expression and healing.
🌱 Looking Forward🌱
The success of the Vegan Community Cookout 2025 and 2026 affirmed what the community already knew:
This is not a trend.
This is not a money grab.
This is the Veg Festival of Northwest Louisiana.
We look forward to continuing this legacy — expanding access to wellness, honoring culture, and cultivating spaces where community thrives.

SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES
The Vegan Community Cookout (VCC) event's mission is to provide a positive and inviting space to play and educate the NWLA and ArkLaTex about growing one's own food, preventative approaches to sustaining and maintaining a healthy body, holistic wellness, and cultural connection.
Sponsorships directly enhance the attendee experience while giving your brand meaningful visibility and meeting your community impact initiatives.
This may go without saying, however, sponsors do not need to be vegan or practice a vegetarian diet in order to support the Cookout. Our engagement goes beyond our own vegan/plant based community. This is the positive effect of our mission!
Why support the VCC?
The VCC sponsorship partners receive benefits such as logo placement, social media promotion, on-site recognition, complimentary tickets, and stage acknowledgments—while supporting a locally rooted, people-centered event.
