Howdy!
This is your Culinary Nutritionist Linda introducing you to Teal Garden Nutrition’s blog series about grocery shopping.
This skill is a must learn within your household, but all of us lose our focus in the daily hustle-bustle to stay simply sane! So, I am bringing this blog series to you as a tool for your elevation.
For the typical experience, physically going to a store is what it is. You run in, grab a buggie (my endearing term for the rolling carts), grab what you want, check out, load up the car and move on to the next task. Grocery shopping tactics, when used appropriately, can help with overspending, staying within your budget, and maintaining your health’s diet goals.
With awesome direct and third-party grocery delivery concepts that take a large portion of grocery shopping burden off your shoulders, you can still enjoy at-home meals and keep your pantry stocked!
.
When I was sick, I tested out the Instacart waters and found it to be very beneficial to order what I needed from a store with the most plant-based grocery items, to select substitutions in case the store does not have what I need in stock on the shelves and contactless-ly (that might not be a word just roll with it) delivered to my door. However, I think it is important to realize that while these grocery delivery concepts allow us to not physically be in the store, we have to shop their online platform for the necessary products and items. This can be the most time consuming with your first ever order, but the grocery delivery applications tend to recall your prior orders and make re-ordering simpler.
In Teal Garden Nutrition's Grocery Shopping article series, we are going to help you in your #adulting experience. We are going to provide an overview on grocery shopping which includes how to write a grocery list, where to buy groceries, and tips on preparing meals to last you several days in a week.
Sincerely,
Linda! 🌟
